Bills of Exchange are a unique type of currency that can be used exclusively in Brynn. They can only be accquired in the Bank.

Bills of exchange were invented by bankers of the Bronze Isles. This convienient trading tool garnered such popularity among Brynn merchants that they brough it with them to the Continent.

Notes

  • You can only accquire a Bill of Exchange worth 10,000 crows - or five full purses. When purchased, you will keep the empty purses.
  • Brynn's Bankers will pay back any amount on a Bill within a players inventory.
    • The Bankers exchange one bill per interaction.
    • The player cannot choose which Bill will be exchanged back into crowns, but the Bill with less crowns on it will be paid off first.
    • Crowns from the Bill will be deposited into the player's inventory, purses taking priority.
    • If the player doesn't have enough room in their inventory, loose crowns will spill onto the floor of the bank.
  • Bills of Exchange are accepted only by merchants within Brynn (including the Bailiffs).
  • When purchasing / repairing items / paying for services within Brynn, the funds will first be subtracted from any Bills in the player's inventory, and then other purses / loose crowns.
  • If a Bill is used up, it disappears completely.
  • Bills cannot be split or merged, and funds cannot be added onto an existing Bill.
  • Bills are the most efficient way to store money, two full Bills being 20,000 crowns and taking up a 2x2 space
