Faith System is a planned feature related to choosing and worshipping a religion. There is very little known about this feature and it currently is listed on the Development roadmap as a "Low priority". It was also mentioned in a Steam Community reply. The current implementation of the Faith System offers the players an option to pray at Shrines for a temporary buff.

Altars & Shrines

The mercenary can randomly encounter Shrines spawned near roads. A permanent Shrine is also available in some Settlements and can be built in the Caravan Camp. After interacting with a Shrine, the character will pray to the Host and receive the Blessing buff. Jorgrim, Hilda and Mahir, being the only player characters with a different culture from Aldor, refuses offering prayers according to local customs. For them, unique Shrines more suited to their races can be built in the Caravan Camp, giving Ancestors' Gaze and Peace of Mind for dwarves and elves respectively.
