the Bank and vaults

The Bank of Brynn and the adjoining mint are the main financial institution in Brynn. The Bank offers services regarding Bills of Exchange and allows the player to rent a vault.

Two bankers offer services, with three heavily armed guards watching over them. Five more soldiers stand guard in the courtyard, with two workers constantly shovelling coal into the mint's furnaces.

Notes

• The vault has two standard-sized containers, and can be rented for five years for a fee of 2000 crowns (convieniently, one full pouch).
• The Banker will laugh the player off when suggesting the bank should pay interest on deposits.
• None of the bankers sell pouches.
• It's impossible to enter the mint itself.
• It would appear the bankers share a bed.
