Contracts & Tasks

Contracts are a type of quest in the world of Stoneshard.

• Contracts are usually provided by village elders.
• Contract usually consists of one or more tasks (e.g. kill the bandit leader, bring back the stolen item) and come with a fixed reward in Crowns.
• Some contracts have a time limit in which you have to complete it, otherwise the contract is voided, you get no rewards and you lose some Reputation.
• Contracts must be turned in to the village elder who issued it after completion.
• Completing a contract successfully raises your Reputation with the village.

Unlike secret quests, Contracts are always tracked and you can review them in your journal at any time. Clicking a contract entry in your journal will set it as your current active quest and the current objective step will be displayed while adventuring.
