Books & Notes

Books are special items that allow the player to learn some parts of the game storyline. Some books may serve as a part of certain contracts. The book contents can be viewed by choosing "Read" from the item context menu. There is also a special category of books called Treatises that allow the player to unlock new skills and spells upon being read for the first time. The list of Treatises can be found on the respective page, while other books and notes are listed in the table below.

Emissary's Letter	1×1	-	Rickerd	A letter by the emissary of Osbrook addressed to the Mannshire governor. It carries a heavy wax seal and looks rather imposing.
Forgotten Letter	1×1	-	Margrave Senvar der Vault	A miraculously intact reminder of the Brynn siege, this letter still bears an impressive-looking wax seal with the Council's crest.
Forgotten Note File:Forgotten Note.png	1×1	-	Unknown author	A tiny piece of paper with a list of names scrawled in big, uneven, yet diligent handwriting.
Old Contract	1×1	-	Barves the Elder	A crumpled document describing a contract, signed with a few signatures.
Recommendation Letter	1×1	-	Bern	Your pass into the exciting world of Brynn craftsmen and bureaucracy.

Folio Magic File:Folio Magic.png	1×2	600	Magister Tidas	While studying in the Academy, Magister Tidas became infamous for his refusal to choose a Circle - instead, he dedicated his life to the study of magic as a whole, not bothering with practical implications that come with the use of specialized spells.
