All Shrines are altars for offering prayers to the [[Host]]. Some of them are strong stone structures, obviously made under the auspices of the clergy, but the rest are homemade altars, filled with candles, flowers and offerings from peasants. The most remarkable, undoubtedly, are the Shrines of [[Brynn Cathedral]], decorated with icons.

Variants of Roadside Altars

Shrines are interactable religious structures located within the world of Stoneshard. Several shrines appear in fixed locations on the map:

Roadside Altar is a Minor POI that is always present on the Global Map on roads nearby Settlements. The location and amount of them is randomly selected when creating a New Game. For obvious reasons, it is absent from pre-war paper maps.

Variations

All Shrines are altars for offering prayers to the Host. Some of them are strong stone structures, obviously made under the auspices of the clergy, but the rest are homemade altars, filled with candles, flowers and offerings from peasants. The most remarkable, undoubtedly, are the Shrines of Brynn Cathedral, decorated with icons.

Properties

A faithful and pious mercenary may pray to the Host once a day to receive a Blessing. Jorgrim is excluded from performing this action, instead having a unique Caravan upgrade specifically for him, The Offering Spot.
