Scrolls are items with different purposes. Some are consumables that are used on other items. Scrolls can be found as loot or bought from several NPCs, usually the Herbalist, the Priest or the Merchants. The colour of the consumable scrolls are random, they are assigned when starting a new game. Different scrolls produce different results listed in the table below:
List of scrolls
Item | Inv. slots | Price | Properties | Uses | Description | Additional notes |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Identification Scroll | 1×2 | 25 | Identifies an item and reveals its properties. | 1 | A result of a longstanding clash between the Mages Guild and the Enchanters Guild. | Reveals the properties of an Unidentified item (such as Potions, or magical equipment). |
Enchantment Scroll | 1×2 | 500 | Enchants an item, applying a single random bonus. | 1 | Another powerful blow delivered by the Mages Guild to the Enchanters Guild. | Enchants Weapons, Armor and Jewelry with magical properties. If used on an item that is already magical, it will re-roll the Enchantments into a new one. |
Disenchantment Scroll | 1×2 | 50 | Cleanses all enchantments and curses from an item. | 1 | Fight fire with fire: it magically purges items of all traces of magic. | Removes the magical properties of an item. Disenchantment Scroll is currently the only way to remove curse from Cursed items. |
