Wolf Tongue/Tooltip

The Wolf Tongue is a consumable food item and cooking ingredient in Stoneshard. Though dangerous to eat raw, it can be cooked into a more nutritious form. It is also valued by specific merchants.

Description

A strange ingredient with questionable nutritional value on its own, but potentially useful to Herbalists or Hunters. Can be cooked to eliminate its toxic effects.

Effects (Raw)

• −2% Hunger
• +50% Nausea Chance
• +50% Poisoning Chance
• Not recommended for direct consumption unless in desperation.

Cooking

Wolf Tongue can be cooked into:

• Roasted Wolf Tongue
• Glazed Wolf Tongue (adds Fortitude and Bleed Resistance)
• Pot Wolf Tongue (future recipe)

Cooking removes the nausea and poisoning effects and provides useful buffs depending on the recipe.

Acquired From

• Dropped by Wolfs after using the Butchering skill (requires knife and survival skill).
• One piece per wolf, not guaranteed without proper skill.

Vendors

You can sell this item to:

• Herbalist – interested in rare organic/alchemical ingredients.
• Hunter – buys parts from hunted animals.
• Price varies based on Reputation, Charisma, and vendor demand, but ranges from 10–30 coins.

Tips
