Greetings! I'd like to sincerely congratulate you: if you read these words then chances are high that you weren't kicked out during your first year in the Academy. Assuming this, I'm not wasting time on any further introductions.
This lesson will teach you about the second most important spell in earth magic - petrification. Fools may grimace in disdain at this suggestion, too eager to jump straight to boulder tossing and explosions, but as any diligent student may already know, a timely petrification can change the flow of battle or even save your life...
