Glo glo! Beverages lower your Thirst, sometimes also your Hunger, and sometimes they also have other beneficial effects.

Water & Milk

The most important Beverage is water. Water is freely available from the town's wells, so remember where the well is and don't forget to refill your Waterskin each time you're back in town. A well is also present at the Witch's Hut.

If you're looking for extra food while low on inventory space, consider taking Milk as it comes with multiple uses and helps with both Hunger and Thirst. When it's empty, you can just throw the jug away.

Alcohol

Unless you're friar Tuck, chances are you won't be carrying tons of alcoholic beverages around, so your waterskin will be your main source for drinking. Some beverages are alcoholic and using them will raise your Intoxication, but drinking alcoholic beverages might help alleviate Pain. Drinking alcohol also comes with side effects like Drunkeness or even Bad Trip.

Compared to water, the main difference is that alcohol actually costs money. Luckily, bandits like booze too, so you can usually find Mead or other beverages in their hideouts. The innkeeper and his assistants are the best option for selling alcohol you bring back from the dungeons.

Elven Mud						An export version of a popular elven drink. Tastes awful, but it does brace you up.
Mannshire Fortified						Now that the vineyards of Mannshire have been ravaged by war, it's hard to find any good wine. This is clearly old stock.
Brynn Vermouth						A spicy aromatic drink that brought fame to Brynn distilleries. Easy to drink, quenches thirst and lifts spirits.
Elven Ice Wine						This sparkling wine is made in the Jacinth Kingdoms from frozen grapes by secret recipe. Nobles in these parts are willing to sell their souls for a single sip.
Spirit						An indispensable ingredient for any alchemist ... or a drunkard.
Brandy						It's expensive, but it has lots of uses.
Dark Ale						A mug of good old village ale. The perfect ending for a hard day's work.
Mead						The northerners can survive for two weeks without a single bread crumb, but they start to wither after three days without mead.
Milk						A jar full of sweet-smelling fresh milk.
Rotten Milk					Not present in Consumables.csv, but exists in Consumable_Parameters.csv.
