This may change in later versions of the game.

Potions are often found in the dungeons. if you have an unidentified potion, you need an Identification Scroll to learn its effect. The potions are randomly created every run with 1-3 effects each and the effects aren't linked to the sprite/texture. There are positive and negative effects. Certain potion effects can be duplicated.

All potions share the following properties:

  • They raise the level of character's Intoxication by 20% upon use.
  • They have only a single use.
  • They occupy 1×2 inventory slots.

More potion effects may be added in upcoming versions.

(Editor's note: Turns out the potion effect names in the game files are different from the actual buff names that you get. Example: Potion of Rage says effect is "Rage", but the buff you get is "Battle Rage". If you find a potion, identify it, screenshot it in your inventory, then screenshot the effect.)
