The Burglar Backpack has 5 devoted Tool slots, 2 for holding Crowbars and 3 for holding Lockpicks. It also has 18 general slots for storing anything else you would like, which is only 2 slots less than a Pack Basket. The space saved with just one crowbar makes up for the 2 missing general slots.
The Burglar Backpack is an excellent choice to take into longer Tier 4 or 5 dungeons. It provides a fairly large amount of space for adventuring supplies with the added benefit of having 2 crowbars for traps and sealed tombs as well as lockpicks for doors and chests.
Trivia
- When wearing a Burglar Backpack, the guard inspection chance increases to 15% (up to 30% if the Settlement is in the Reinforcements situation).
- As of the current version 0.9.4.6 "Blood Omens" patch, it is now possible to use Crowbars or Lockpicks in their devoted slots without pulling them into your regular inventory first.
