Abandoned Cart is a Minor POI that is always present on the Global Map on roads nearby Settlements. The location and amount of them is randomly selected when creating a New Game. For obvious reasons, it is absent from pre-war paper maps.
Variations
There are currently 15 Сart variations in the game.
- Variation 1: A broken Cart loaded with burlap sacks, one of which contains Loot.
- Variation 2: An overturned Cart loaded with barrels that may contain Loot.
- Variation 3: A large Cart caught in a brutal ambush. In addition to the container with Loot, of interest are the Arrows with which both the Cart itself and the Horse corpse nearby are generously studded.
- Variation 4: A Cart with a broken bottom. Apparently, someone else had plundered it long ago.
- Variation 5: Small Cart. The only thing notable about it is the Horseshoe lying nearby, although there are no other traces of Horses.
- Variation 6: A Cart, apparently from an undertaker, with a horse skeleton nearby on which the Ravens sat. There is no Loot here other than a variety of Bones and one Golden Tooth.
- Variation 7: A Cart carrying tissue and covered in still fresh blood. Inside is a container with Loot, and next to it is a Rope.
- Variation 8: An overturned Cart with its contents spilled out and broken. Nearby lie a Coal Chunk and, more importantly, an Iron Ingot.
- Variation 9: A Cart that fell from a cliff, which became an ideal new home in the opinion of the Deathstingers, who built their Hive right in it. Among the interesting things here, in addition to cow skeletons and a barrel that can be broken if desired, are a Bolt of Cloth, Spool of Thread and some useful item, like Crowbar.
- Variation 10: Apparently, prisoners in cages were transported in the Cart, but now all that was left of them and their guards were the Bones on which the Hive had settled. Skeletons can carry a variety of Loot.
- Variation 11: This Cart is unique to the quest "Missing plane" given by carpenter Jurg of Osbrook. The Cart is guaranteed to be guarded by Brigands. The container always contains a Forgotten Note and Loot, intended to replenish the supplies of village craftsmen, and on the ground nearby there is a Rope and Nails.
- Variation 12: This fortified Cart seems to have been intended to carry some important Magistrate's person with his own guard. However, now the whole company, including the two Horses, is dead, and Ravens are feasting on their corpses. There is a container with Loot, a box with Bottle of Oil, a Horseshoe and a lot of Arrows.
- Variation 13: A heavily damaged Cart with a container with Loot. The driver is brutally executed: hanged on a makeshift gallows from the wheel of his own Cart. There's Coal Chunk nearby.
- Variation 14: A Сart with a covered but tattered roof. In addition to the container with Loot, there is a Rag, a Mannshire Fortified and Bottle of Oil.
- Variation 15: A Cart apparently carrying Grape from Mannshire. Unfortunately or fortunately, the barrels are broken and their contents can be eaten.
Properties
- Contain different Loot sometimes valuable.
- Sometimes Cart is surrounded by Brigands. Sometimes, they appear at a cart occupied by Deathstingers, which leads to a brawl.
