Phase 1: Archon

A leader of the vampiric cult, occupying this monastery. The Stoneshard in his hands doesn't bode well.

Archon is invulnerable in his humanoid form.
He uses the Statue of Sacrifice to attack Verren and Statue of Contemplation to raise the Ritual Restless.
Destroy the Statues on the sides to deactivate his protective bubble.

Skill	Basic Stats	Description
Blood Puddle	Spell Type: Target Area Range: 4 Cooldown: 5	Marks an area. Next turn pours a puddle of boiling blood in it. Puddles persist for 2 turns and deal 15 Unholy Damage and 15 Caustic Damage per turn.
Blood Clot	Spell Type: Target Object Range: 1 Cooldown: 5	Launches a clot of blood at the target, dealing 4 Unholy Damage and 4 Caustic Damage.
Summon the Restless	Spell Type: Target Tile Range: 4 Cooldown: 5	Reanimates one of the bodies in the corpse pile.
Unholy Ritual	Spell Type: No Target Range: 1 Cooldown: 5	Replenishes +50% Max Health to all the Restless and grants them +50% Damage.

Phase 2: Ascended Archon

Archon is vulnerable in his Abomination form. Defeat him to finish the Tutorial.
The hint for this bossfight is in the skill descriptions.
Ascended Archon serves as a tutorial to bossfights in general.
Players have previously defeated this boss using various builds and methods, including using no skills and fighting bare-handed.

Skill	Basic Stats	Description
Bestial Charge	Charge Type: Target Object Range: 5 Cooldown: 4	Charges forward in a 5 tiles line. The first target in its path takes 666% damage. If the Archon collides with the scenery during the charge, he is Stunned for 2 turns.
Wild Swipe (Ascended Archon)	Active Type: Target Area Range: 1 Cooldown: 0	Deliver a strike to three adjacent targets with +100% Knockback Chance.
Jump Away	Maneuver Type: Target Tile Range: 1 Cooldown: 4	Jumps 2 tiles or less, gains +66% Dodge Chance and -33% Damage Taken for the next turn.
Corpse Devourment	Maneuver Type: Target Object Range: 1 Energy: 50	Devours a corpse, replenishing 33% Max Health and 33% Max Energy.
Phantom Bats	Spell Type: Target Area Range: 3 Cooldown: 4	Marks an area. Next turn releases a swarm of spectral bats at it, dealing 26 Unholy Damage and applying Curse for 13 turns.

Perhaps the Archon and Abbot Vidian are one and the same person. But at the moment there is no conclusive evidence of this.
The Archon simultaneously uses both Sanguimancy and Necromancy - a crazy cocktail of forbidden knowledge.
The appearance of the Ascended Archon is suspiciously similar to how demons are depicted in the eschatological stories of the Triple Hand Order.
